On Bol.com, delivery speed directly affects your sales and your performance score. Bol relies more and more on its own delivery service for this: Ampère. If your fulfilment partner is an official Ampère drop-off point, your parcels go straight into that network.
What is Ampère?
Ampère is a delivery company that grew out of Bol, focused on more sustainable and efficient pick-up and delivery. It is a fixed part of Bol's logistics.
Ampère also opens its network to partners. Fulfilment companies and businesses with warehouse space can become an inleverpunt (drop-off point) and hand parcels over to the Ampère network.
What does "official drop-off point" mean?
An official drop-off point is a recognised node in Bol's delivery network. For sellers who ship through one, that brings three things:
- 24-hour delivery promise: parcels in the Ampère network are covered by Ampère's delivery promise.
- Counts fully towards your service standard: Bol holds sellers to strict on-time delivery targets. Shipping through an official drop-off point keeps that part in order.
- Fully traceable: every handover is scanned, so it is always clear where a parcel is.
How to check whether a warehouse is an official drop-off point
Ask directly: "Are you an Ampère inleverpunt?" A serious partner confirms it straight away and can explain how the handover works. If the answer is vague, or all you hear is "we work with many carriers", it is probably not an official point.
